At World of Exotic Pets, we stand by our commitment to ensure that your reptiles and amphibians arrive alive and healthy. We offer a 100% Live Arrival Guarantee for all our animals.

Issues with Your Order?

If your animal arrives Dead on Arrival (DOA), you must report it within 1 hour of delivery. For any other issues, please notify us within 4 hours of delivery. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us first.

Health Guarantee

  1. Health Assurance: We guarantee the health of our captive bred (CB or CBB) animals for 3 days from the time of delivery. Conditions apply:
    • You will need to email clear photos of the setup, including gauges showing temperature and humidity.
  2. Proper Environment: It is essential to understand the needs of your new pet. Our guarantee is void if the animal is not housed in a proper environment. For example, a bearded dragon should not be kept in a plastic kritter keeper. We will assess whether your enclosure meets the necessary husbandry standards.
  3. Sex Guarantee: While we do our best to accurately determine the sex of our animals using various techniques (e.g., visual factors, popping, probing), we cannot guarantee the sex on any animal.
  4. Parasite-Free Guarantee: All our animals are guaranteed to be free of external parasites. Please note that internal health issues are not covered under this guarantee; it applies strictly to outward health.

Field Collected / Imported Animals

All reptiles have a live and healthy arrival guarantee. However, we cannot provide a guarantee after arrival for field collected, imported, or wild-caught reptiles. These animals may exhibit slight cosmetic imperfections that do not affect their health.

If your shipment arrives deceased, visibly unhealthy, or damaged, you must notify World of Exotic Pets immediately upon delivery. The arrival time will be verified by the tracking information provided by FedEx. Please reach out to us at info@worldofexoticpets.com, and click here to file a claim to ensure your guarantee remains valid.

Due to the sensitive nature of all amphibians and certain reptiles, we emphasize that there are no guarantees on amphibians or any non-captive bred reptiles.

Reporting Issues

If you encounter any problems with your new pet, please email us at info@worldofexoticpets.com to initiate a claim. A photo of the contents of the shipment must be sent within the specified time frame, or guarantees will be null and void.

Remember:

  • DOA must be reported within 1 hour.
  • Any other issues must be reported within 4 hours.
