Welcome to World of Exotic Pets. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Your failure to read these terms, whether intentional or accidental, will not alter or void them in any way.

Shipping Policies

  • Free Shipping Offers: Free shipping applies only to standard live animal shipping. Exclusions include venomous animals, larger animals requiring special packaging, and other specified exclusions. Promotions for free shipping may vary and are subject to change.
  • Shipping Schedule: World of Exotic Pets ships Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Order and Refund Policies

  • Final Sales: All sales are final. We operate a no return and no refund policy for all orders. If you need to cancel an order, you may request store credit if the cancellation occurs before the order has shipped.
  • Cancellation Fees: In some cases, if a refund is granted, a 15% cancellation fee may apply.
  • Animal Sexing: We strive to accurately determine the sex of our animals based on our experience. However, we cannot guarantee the sex unless explicitly stated.

Shipping Methods

  • Live Animal Shipping: Live animals are shipped via Next Day Air with UPS and Priority Overnight with FedEx Express. Venomous reptiles and mammals are shipped airport to airport via commercial airlines in compliance with IATA regulations. Additional fees may apply for boxing and health certificates.
  • Delivery Requirement: The buyer must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. Failure to do so will void all guarantees.
  • Temperature Guarantee: Live and visibly healthy arrival is guaranteed only when shipping temperatures at both ends are between 40°F – 89°F for home delivery and 32°F – 99°F for pickup at UPS or FedEx facilities. If opting for facility pickup, the package must be collected within two hours of the center’s opening time, or guarantees will be void.

Arrival Guarantee

  • Notification of Issues: If your shipment arrives deceased, unhealthy, or damaged, you must notify World of Exotic Pets immediately upon receipt. All issues must be reported within two hours of delivery, as determined by tracking information.
  • Carrier Delays: We are not responsible for delays or mishandling caused by the carrier. No refunds will be issued for shipping fees due to late deliveries. In some cases, we may offer store credit for a partial amount.
  • Deceased Animals: If your animal arrives deceased, we will gladly ship a replacement. However, we do not issue refunds.
  • Shipping Charges: You are responsible for shipping charges incurred while upholding our guarantee. We do not offer credits or refunds on shipping for replacement animals.

Responsibility and Liability

  • Veterinary Expenses: We cannot be held responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred by the buyer. If you decide to take any animal to a veterinarian, you do so at your own expense.
  • Local Laws: Please be aware of your local wildlife laws and regulations. We will not knowingly ship in violation of any state or federal laws.
  • Right to Refuse Sale: We reserve the right to refuse sale to any buyer for any reason. Proof of age may be required at our discretion.

Fraud Prevention

  • Fraud Prevention: The reptile industry is prone to fraudulent orders. We may request ID and/or verification before shipping any order. All verified fraud attempts will be reported to federal authorities.
  • Address Changes: For fraud prevention reasons, we cannot change the shipping address on an order after it is placed. A new order must be created to ship to a different address.

Intellectual Property

  • Ownership of Content: All photos, descriptions, and care sheets on our website are the exclusive property of World of Exotic Pets. Unauthorized use or reproduction of this content is prohibited without specific written permission.

Changes to Terms

  • Modification of Terms: World of Exotic Pets reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time and in its sole discretion. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
